| Host Belen rolled over Southwest, 42-0, Thursday night. The game started out as a defensive struggle with the first two possessions for each team ending in three-and-outs. After a bad snap led to a 6-yard punt, the Wolverines (2-5) drove 39 years for a 7-0 lead after one quarter. The second period was a nightmare for the Eagles (2-4). Belen scored five touchdowns to take a 42-0 lead at halftime. With running clock, there was no scoring in the second half. Southwest quarterback Pedro Cabrera left the game with an injury and Christian Espinal moved from wide receiver to QB and ran for two consecutive first downs in the fourth period.
