Host Southridge celebrated their senior night Friday, rolling over Southwest, 49-0. With backup quarterback Pedro Morales out due to an injury suffered last week and starter Caden Borgardt out for the year with an injury sustained in the preseason game, wide receiver Livan Morales took over signal-calling duties. The Eagles offense recorded four first downs in the game, one on an 8-yard Morales run, the second on a Morales 18-yard pass to Christian Espinal, the third on a penalty and the final one on a 13-yard Espinal rush. The Spartans (8-0) led 35-0 at the half, meaning the entire second half was played with a running clock. Southwest falls to 2-5.

Livan Morales was forced to take over at QB
