EAGLES DROP OPENER

Southwest played its first girls basketball game since Feb. 5, 2024. Unfortunately, it was against perennial power Ferguson. The host Falcons rolled to a 62-14 victory. Ferguson (3-1) jumped out to a 14-0 lead after one quarter, extended the margin to 33-6 at the half and took a 44-12 lead into the final period.
