TURNOVERS DOOM EAGLES

Visiting Southwest played the gracious guest Thursday night turning the ball over 43 times in a 54-32 loss to Booker T. Washington. Despite 11 first quarter turnovers, the Eagles (1-6) trailed only 14-11 after the first eight minutes and led 19-18 at the half. The Tornadoes (6-2) outscored Southwest, 21-2, in the third period to take command. Amazingly, BTW was whistled for only five fouls in the entire game while Southwest was charged with 20.

JV UPSETS BOOKER T.

Jace Castillo scored 12 points to lead the junior varsity to a 39-31 victory over host Booker T. Washington. AJ Perez and Chris Gonzalo each added 9 for the Baby Eagles, who are now 2-5. The Baby Tornadoes fell to 5-3.
